When is it recommended to replace the nipple?
Mother-K silicone nipples are made from ultra-soft and gentle LSR (liquid silicone rubber), which may gradually deform or allow more airflow over time with regular use. To ensure hygiene and safety, it is recommended to replace the nipple every 2–3 months.
Sterilizing in boiling water
After washing the product, sterilize it in boiling water at a temperature of at least 100 °C using bottle tongs. Sterilization for no longer than 1 minute is recommended. Do not leave the product in boiling water for extended periods and avoid contact with the sides or bottom of the pot, as excessive heat may cause deformation.
Sterilizing in a microwave sterilizer
Sterilize the bottle and cap with a small amount of water or by using a dedicated sterilizing container. Sterilize nipples and other parts only according to the instructions provided for the specific sterilizer.
Sterilizing in a UV sterilizer
Prolonged UV sterilization may alter the product’s color or appearance. Regularly inspect the product condition and replace it if necessary.
Attention!
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use only for its intended purpose.
• Use by children only under adult supervision.
• Keep away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
• UV sterilizers may be used, but prolonged sterilization may cause discoloration or deformation.
• Due to the nature of silicone material, the product may wear out or become damaged over time. Check the condition before each use.
• Before first use, thoroughly wash and sterilize all parts.
• Do not use the product if deformation, cracks, or any damage are noticed.
• If the nipple becomes torn or damaged, replace it immediately.
• Slight nipple collapse during feeding is normal — pressure usually equalizes after several uses.
• If the collapse continues, check whether the air valve is blocked.
• For hygiene and safety reasons, nipples are recommended to be replaced every 2–3 months.
